CUSTOMER SERVICE CO-ORDINATOR

Description: Calling all excellent travel industry customer relations professionals! Our client is a leading luxury tour operator who is seeking a strong customer relations professional with strong letter-writing abilities and the ability to investigate post-travel complaints and queries thoroughly and in a professional manner.If you have customer service experience from a tour operations background and are well versed in handling written customer complaints, then this role will suit you down to the ground.

The main objectives of the role are to handle & resolve complaints within outlined timetables whilst continually focusing on delivering outstanding customer service to existing & returningcustomers. To identify & improve quality of product & service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Field in-coming callsand respond to customer requests
*Identify, research and resolve customer issues
*Ensure that e-mails, correspondence and customer issues are dealt with in a timely manner
*Follow-up on customer enquiries not immediately resolved
*Report any relevant issues to other areas of the company and / or Sales & Relationship Manager
*Complete logs & reports
*Recommend processimprovements

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
*Ability to recognise and fulfil the customers' needs
*Skilled at communicating clearly;both verbal & written
*Empathises with the customer during difficult situations
*Can professionally handle customers; however unpleasant they are
*Has an eye for detail and can work accurately
*Ability to work unsupervised

Note: In addition to the duties set out above, you may from time to time be required to undertake additional duties necessary to meet the needs of thecompany. Such duties will be commensurate with the responsibilities and grading of the position.

Support while job hunting

New Deal gives people claiming benefits the help and support they need to look for work, including training and job preparation. New Deal is part of the Department for Work and Pensions(DWP). New Deal provides support for

Newspaper vacancy listings

As well as local weekly paper job listings, the Evening Standard comes with a large job vacancy supplement every Monday. London jobs, is the Evening Standard's online job service.

Volunteering and work experience

Volunteering and gaining work experience in whatever type of work or context are very valuable experiences in terms of training and self-esteem.

  • Jobcentre Plus provides advice on finding voluntary work.
  • Millennium Volunteers, run by Department for Education and Skills, is aimed at young people aged 16-24. MV allows young people to build on their interests, to develop themselves and make a difference to their community at the same time. Through the course of their voluntary work, volunteers will gain valuable skills and experience that they can make use of in the workplace.
