Job duration: Start date: ASAP Description: Strategy Manager - Hampshire - £50-£70k + FS Benefits Leading multi-national Financial Services group is currently growing a key team in the commercial insurance division. This is a pivotal role withhuge opportunity for progression and development for the right person. This role is in the Business Strategy & Insight department ? a mix of Research, Data and Insight skills are currently in the team and we need a commercially focused manager (initially 3 direct reports) to help develop the strategy of the Commercial Insurance business moving forward. You will have excellent communication and relationship building skills ? core to the role is developing relationships with director level stakeholders and ability to challenge and develop internal views as well as developing external relationships Core responsibilities/purposes include: ? To build competitive advantage through developing understanding of current /future needs, behaviours and expectations of customers and intermediaries, turning these into clearly defined strategies and plans. ? To act as the externalsensor, assessing the impact on our competitive position as a result of changes in the competitor, Government and stakeholder behaviours, and catalysing an appropriate reaction from the business, across internal boundaries if appropriate ? To conduct strategic reviews of current or potential market segments / channels to support long term development. To conduct analysis of companies to support inorganic growth. ? Volunteering and work experience
Volunteering and gaining work experience in whatever type of work or context are very valuable experiences in terms of training and self-esteem.
