Fourth Culture Film New Logo Competition
Fourth Culture Films is a relatively new production company, with two feature films (Baseline and Tacho) under its belt, along with several other projects in development. Fourth Culture Films started two years ago, drawing its name from the theory “third culture kids”, and is inspired by the theory’s general liberalness and unique way of thinking. With its growing profile, Fourth Culture Films is looking for an updated logo that better represents them.
Construct a new logo being as creative as possible, while still keeping the art of simplicity in mind.
Terms & Conditions
· You will need to produce a visual piece that would reproduce effectively in print.
· There are no restrictions on technique, materials, style, or software used (however work must be non photographic). The work can also be created in 3D or animated, but only if it can be effectively reproduced in 2D print.
· Submissions should be in a form suitable for commercial use in media (press, direct marketing and online) and dimensions should be A4 minimum, A1 maximum. (Please note work can be smaller than A4 as long as an appropriate vector file accompanies it).
· You must include your name in the file name of your entry.
· Must be able to provide source files for artwork.
· A maximum of three entries per person.
· Winning artworks will become the property of Fourth Culture Films.
· By entering the competition you will be accepting the Terms & Conditions.
Submitting Your Work
· Entries should be submitted online to info@fourthculturefilms.com. Please include your name and contact information.
· All entries must be submitted in a file no larger than 5Mb (even if the source file is larger).
· We accept the following file types – EPS, JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, RAW, AI, SVG, and PDF.
Selection Process
· The logo that personifies Fourth Culture Films the best will be chosen.
Closing Date
· The closing date for entries to the competition is 30 June 2011.
· Work will only be eligible if the submissions comply with the Terms & Conditions stated.
Prize
· The person whose design is chosen to be the new logo will receive two weeks work experience with Fourth Culture Films.
